Due to the prevailing geopolitical climate and the EU's recent initiatives, we've chosen science diplomacy as the subject for our first LERU Talks video. In this episode, we feature two distinguished guests: Ms Maria Cristina Russo, Director for Global Approach & International Cooperation in Research & Innovation at the European Commission’s Directorate General for R&I, and Dr Jean-Christophe Mauduit, Lecturer in Science Diplomacy at University College London. They'll be sharing their insights and perspectives on different aspects of science diplomacy, namely its uniqueness, its crucial impact, but also its challenges. The video covers the EU policy perspective, as well as the academic one.
