Digital Education

The Digital Education group brings together many experts engaged in LERU universities supporting digital education. The group has built on the prior e-LERU initiative and has been exchanging information and best practice in the LERU network for more than a decade. In recent years the policy group has especially focused its work on hybrid learning and teaching, digital assessment, support and training for academic staff, the use of virtual reality, artificial intelligence and other new emerging technologies in education and academic development.

The group works on all these activities throughout the year, but meets physically twice every year. Their work is feeding into the policy developed by the LEAR policy group and vice versa.
