Better rules on Text and Data Mining are needed to maximise the potential of Artificial Intelligence in Europe

In order to maximise the benefits of Artificial Intelligence, the EU has to adopt future-proof rules on Text and Data Mining (TDM). LERU has signed up to the open letter that calls for such rules and that was sent yesterday to the European Commission on behalf of 23 organisations.     

On 26 March, LERU and other 27 organisations also called on the European Parliament through an open letter to improve the TDM exception to benefit European research and innovation.
