This policy brief is a memorandum of the understanding between the European Commission (EC) and LERU. In their understanding, the EC and LERU have agreed that they will, in a proportionate way, share with each other the already available, relevant, and necessary information to monitor the implementation of this Memorandum of Understanding. Furthermore, LERU will encourage its members to focus on twelve different actions, such as research careers, gender and doctoral training, while the EC focuses on two: stakeholder platform and monitoring.
